Power Platform solutions built on clear business rules

Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse can turn manual, error-prone work into a system your business can run. They only deliver that when the process behind them is well understood. Forte Design helps organizations in Los Angeles and beyond define the process first, then build apps, automated workflows and reporting on top of it.

The tool isn’t the hard part. Low-code makes it quick to build something. It doesn’t make it quick to build the right thing. Without agreed rules, you get apps that only handle the happy path and flows that break the first time something changes.

Power Apps. When SharePoint lists can’t do what you need, we build custom apps that connect to SQL Server, Oracle, Salesforce, Dataverse and other systems. People make mistakes so we build in checks that reduce errors and guide users through a task.

Power Automate. We automate approvals, notifications, data collection and the repetitive steps that eat up staff time, with permissions and failure handling designed in from the start.

Power BI. Good dashboards depend on work that happens before the visuals: data ingestion and transformation, linking data hierarchies, row-level security and DAX measures. We do that groundwork so operational teams can act on the data.

Dataverse. We use Dataverse to manage critical data in one controlled place, a single source of truth for products, categories, regions and other data behind your financial reports. It offers full database capability without the overhead of a larger Azure database.

Built for the unglamorous parts

Reliability. We assume anything can and will fail, and design failure capture, clean-up flows and supporting lists accordingly.

Permissions. We make sure information reaches the right person at the right stage, because getting permissions right is about trust as well as technology.

Honest status. We track tasks, issues, roadblocks, estimates and delivery dates, so you always know what’s live, in development or on hold.

Peer review. Every project has a named developer and tester, and we challenge our own work before you see it.
