Our client, a major Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturer, must complete a rigorous annual review of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across its production ecosystem. With formulations, equipment, and regulatory expectations constantly evolving, they needed a centralized, disciplined way to manage the full lifecycle of nearly 1,000 SOPs every year.
We designed and deployed a unified SOP governance platform (via SharePoint and Power Automate) that brings structure, accountability, and visibility to the entire process. Each department receives automated notifications prompting them to review, approve, revise, or retire documents. The system tracks every critical detail: approval status, document owner, SOP reference number, department ownership, last review date, and upcoming review deadlines.
The result is a streamlined, audit‑ready process that ensures compliance, reduces operational risk, and gives leadership confidence that every procedure guiding their manufacturing operations is current, accurate, and properly controlled.
